Nights of Hope – What if you had Another Chance?

From July 8th to the 10th, thousands of people of all ages and regions gathered at an airfield in Schwenningen to hear the precious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each night, the number of participants increased greatly. More than 6000 people attended the three-evening Nights of Hope event. On Saturday and Sunday, over 180 Christians were mobilized to do outreaches in various towns in the Black Forest and to bring non-Christians to the evening events. Sunday evening alone, over 2700 people traveled from all over Germany to experience a touch from God. In addition, on Sunday morning, we also held an inter-church worship service with over 2000 Christians in attendance. The moments when hundreds jumped up from their seats to give their lives to Jesus will mark the Black Forest forever. Weeks after Nights of Hope, we are still receiving reports of people whose lives have been forever transformed by God. Even Christians who participated in the event tell us of the impact it has left on their hearts and that they cannot go on living as they have prior to the crusade.

When Jesus Works All Things are Possible – Hundreds of Salvations and Healings

During the three-day gathering, over 600 people made a decision for Jesus, with 291 completed decision cards. But it does not stop here! Currently, these same people are being baptized and made true followers and disciples of Jesus in dozens of local churches, which were involved in Nights of Hope. In addition to the many salvations, we also prayed for healing and deliverance. Miracles, as seen in Africa, suddenly began to break out all over the field. Blind eyes and deaf ears began to open, cripples began to walk, and those who have been plagued by diseases for years were suddenly healed. Knees were restored and shoulders were made mobile again!
I would like to tell you about a few stories that stood out:

1. Naomi, an 18-year-old girl who had been hearing impaired for several years came on stage, stunned with her hearing aid in hand. When she realized her complete healing on stage, she fell to her knees in tears.
2. Claire, a girl who had been going blind for years, testified of her healing as she read a text in small print to thousands of people on stage.
3. A man who came to the field, crawling on his hands and knees was completely healed. He ran back and forth on the stage, proclaiming that Jesus had completely healed him.
4. Two young boys who had received healing themselves on the first night prayed for a woman who was almost completely blind. As the night progressed, her sight was fully restored!

All of these lives, along with many others, will never be the same!

Deliverances

As we prayed for deliverance, we asked the people to bring any demonic or witchcraft items that held people in spiritual captivity. We could not believe our eyes as the metal barrels used to collect the items were being filled! The items varied from chains to bracelets, books, photos, drugs, bottles of alcohol, CD collections, etc. The items were then set on fire and burnt while thousands worshiped Jesus and rejoiced over the new freedom they now have, that only Jesus can give!

Spiritual Preparation of the Environment Before the Event

During the preparations for the Gospel campaign, our fiery and devoted evangelists flooded the entire Black Forest with the Gospel. Everywhere they went, they fearlessly preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the same time, they invited all the people to the upcoming Nights of Hope. Even on the streets of the Black Forest, Jesus was confirmed by signs and wonders. Nine hundred ninety-six people gave their lives to Jesus! Over five weeks, an average of 20 evangelists were on the road from morning to night, preaching throughout the Black Forest. We also held evangelism-equipping weekends in 16 churches. The power of God broke out every weekend and dozens of Christians learned how to share the simple Gospel with the lost. On the streets, we were able to experience the same power of the Holy Spirit as we experienced during Nights of Hope. People who were previously on crutches were completely healed and were able to walk without crutches right after being prayed for. With our eyes, we witnessed spines that were previously marked by severe scoliosis realigned and shortened legs visibly and supernaturally adjusted. On the spot, Jesus delivered those who struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

In December of 2020, Evg. David Rotärmel conducted a crusade in collaboration with CfaN in Boma Ng’ombe, Tanzania. In this crusade, he preached the Gospel with a fellow evangelist and they saw over 2,000 souls accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Currently, the local churches are following up with them and they are continually being discipled.

In June of 2021, Evg. David Rotärmel was invited to partner with CfaN to preach in one of the five simultaneously conducted Gospel Crusades in “Operation Decapolis.” Shoulder-to-shoulder with Evg. Daniel Kolenda, the Gospel was preached to tens of thousands. In Tunduma, Tanzania, where Evg. David Rotärmel was stationed, nearly half of the population of the city came to hear the Gospel. Thousands surrendered their lives to Jesus, along with 10 witchdoctors. On the last night, about 60,000 people were in attendance. Along with the gift of salvation, many received healing, saw miracles take place, and left their crutches behind on the field as they went home rejoicing over what the Lord has done in their lives. The region of Tunduma was truly shaken by the power of the Gospel.

In July of 2021, Reviving The World partnered with CfaN and Evg. Denis Artyushevskiy. Together they conducted a Gospel Crusade in the city of Bukoba, Tanzania. There were many set backs and the crusade permit was revoked multiple times, BUT Jesus intervened! Over a span of four nights, the region was transformed as the name of Jesus was preached. Over 10,000 souls have been added to the body of Christ.

In 2021, Daniel Kolenda granted David Rotärmel the opportunity to train with Rev. John Darku, who organized all of Christ for all Nations crusades in Africa over the past 30 years. For two and a half months, David learned how to organize massive flagship crusades by implementing theoretical knowledge that can be applied to a crusade. Throughout the days spent with Rev. John Darku, David was able to grasp the difference between event organizing, event management, and crusade directing. He quickly learned the difference was that event organizing and management focuses on the event itself, whereas in crusade directing many factors play a role before the event, as well as, after the event takes place. The purpose of a crusade is not to put on an event, but to see lives transformed by the Gospel and equip people to live out their newfound freedom and salvation.

David was able to experience this first hand in Ibadan, Nigeria where over 350,000 people gathered on the last day of the crusade. Hundreds of thousands received Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. For many, this was just the beginning of a fulfilled life. New believers were connected with local churches and are being discipled by the body of Christ.

Throughout the training, David’s heart began to burn even more to see nations restored and made whole as they returned to the Kingdom. He was able to see the bigger picture and received a clear vision of how it could be possible to bring the Kingdom of God into every sphere of influence.
